        MISSPLACES

 

Every Thursday the lead director, Amanda delivers Well-Being sessions.

​

Sessions will consist of morning and afternoon sessions 11 am – 12:30 pm and 1:15 pm – 2:45 pm

 

Well, being in sessions, will include topics around: –

Building confidence and self-esteem,

Understanding anxiety and ‘Fight, flight, freeze’.

Setting goals

Understand the relationship between food and mood

Explore feelings and how to increase self-awareness

Develop mindfulness practice

 

‘MissPlaces on the move’

 

All sessions will include a short 10 minute gentle stretching and movement.

Well-being walks - low-key accessible walks planned regularly throughout the borough

 

Presentations given by various health organisations in Wigan.

 

 

All our handmade products can be purchased directly from MissPlaces or can be found at the ‘Rebuild with Hope’ shop (in the Grand Arcade, Wigan) or at local craft events.
